The main principle in all activities, including the development of regulations and guidance, is to prevent and reduce health risks related to indoor air pollution by removing pollution sources found in buildings and repairing the damage they cause.<\/p>\n

Dust is not just an aesthetic nuisance \u2013 it is part of indoor air quality<\/strong><\/p>\n

When dust is allowed to circulate in the air, it can carry allergens, microbes and chemical compounds that irritate the respiratory tract and impair well-being at work.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″ css=”.vc_custom_1762936383310{background-color: #00000090 !important;}”][vc_column_text css=””]In Finland \u2013 and according to a study by the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) \u2013 exposure to indoor air pollutants, such as particles and poor ventilation, remains a significant health risk.<\/strong><\/p>\n
